Individual Psychotherapy
People come to therapy hoping to feel better. While relief from anxiety, depression, grief, or relationship difficulties is an important goal, therapy is about more than reducing symptoms. It is an opportunity to better understand yourself, recognize long-standing patterns, and begin responding to life's challenges in new ways.
Therapy isn't about being given advice or having someone tell you what to do. Nor is it simply a place to vent. Meaningful change often comes from slowing down, becoming more aware of your inner world, and changing your relationship to your thoughts, emotions, and the people around you.
I believe that good therapy involves both support and challenge. There are times when you need someone to help you feel understood, accepted, and less alone. There are also times when growth requires gently questioning familiar patterns, examining difficult truths, or taking risks that can feel uncomfortable. My role is to help you do both—to create a space that is compassionate enough to feel safe and honest enough to foster change.
Above all, I believe that healing happens in relationship. Research consistently shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of successful therapy, regardless of the specific techniques used. Building a relationship that is grounded in trust, openness, and collaboration is critical. My hope is that our work together becomes a place where you can experience yourself differently and, over time, carry those changes into the rest of your life.
Fees & Insurance
My fee for individual sessions is $200. I am an out-of-network provider, which means payment is due at the end of each session.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), my services are likely eligible for reimbursement through your out-of-network insurance benefits. Because every insurance plan is different, I encourage you to contact your insurance company before we begin therapy to ask about your out-of-network mental health coverage, including the reimbursement process and the percentage of fees that may be covered.
I will provide you with a superbill or any other documentation your insurance company requires so that you can submit claims for reimbursement. While navigating insurance can sometimes feel complicated, many clients are able to recover a meaningful portion of their therapy fees through their out-of-network benefits.
If you have questions about fees, insurance, or the reimbursement process, I'm happy to discuss them before we begin.
